SPOHR STEGHERR e. K. is an innovative company with a focus and a very high level of specialisation in the fields of turbo and special transmissions as well as testing station construction.

Moreover, with our highly motivated and qualified team in our engineering office, we are your competent engineering partner for mechanical developments and constructions.

The use of the latest CAD and computer software, continuous employee qualification, our rapid reactions and individuality have formed and continue to represent the requirements for the sustained national and international success of the company.

Now and then

The company was founded in 1980 by Mr Rudolf Stegherr. From the start, his focus was on the special and high-speed transmissions as well as all the construction challenges associated with this. In 2005, Mr Guido Spohr entered the company succession.

The consistent direction of the company was maintained but, due to great demand, the product portfolio was expanded to include the core competence of customer-specific testing station construction and the pure provision of services in the engineering office.

On 01.01.2008, STEGHERR Getriebebau was renamed SPOHR STEGHERR e.K. and the company moved to new premises in Augsburg.
